Terms of Use
Last updated October 29, 2026
In short
- PalLoop keeps score for game nights between friends. It is not a gambling service and never takes a cut.
- You must be 18 or older, and you're responsible for following the laws where you play.
- Be decent. We don't tolerate abusive, hateful or sexual content, and we remove it and the people who post it.
- Balances in the app are a record between friends. Settling up is between you and them.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") cover your use of the PalLoop app, website and related services (the "Service"), provided by Superintelligent Labs ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who can use PalLoop
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. You must give us accurate account information and keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
2. What the Service does
PalLoop helps you organise games with people you know: create groups, schedule game nights, record buy-ins, results and rounds, see who owes whom, chat, share moments and settle up. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
3. Not a gambling service
- PalLoop records games you play with friends. We don't run games, take bets, set odds, hold a pot or take a share of anything won.
- Some games you record may involve money where you live. You're responsible for making sure your games are legal where you play them, and for any taxes.
- Nothing in the Service is an offer or invitation to gamble.
4. Balances and settling up
- Balances and "who owes whom" are records made from what players enter. They are not a bill from us, and we don't guarantee anyone will pay.
- If you choose to pay a friend by card in the app, the payment is processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. Once a payment has gone through we can't reverse it; sort out mistakes with the person you paid.
- Credit in your Game Balance can be used within PalLoop, for example to pay a friend. It can't be withdrawn as cash, earns no interest and is not a bank account.
- If you buy a paid plan on the website, the price and what it includes are shown before you pay. Purchases are handled by Stripe.
5. What you share
You own the messages, photos, videos and other content you post. You give us permission to store, show and send it as needed to run the Service, for example to show your message to your group or your moment on a replay page you share. Only post content you have the right to share, and only share photos of people who are happy to be in them.
6. Rules of the table
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, bully or impersonate anyone;
- post hateful, sexual, violent, illegal or otherwise objectionable content;
- record false games or results to mislead or cheat other people;
- use the Service to collect money for anything other than settling games among people you know;
- spam people, or use the Service for advertising without our permission;
- break, overload, scrape or get unauthorised access to the Service or other people's accounts.
You can report content or people, and block anyone, from the app. We review reports within 24 hours and may remove content, and suspend or remove accounts, that break these Terms.
7. Other services
The Service relies on other companies, such as Apple, Google, Stripe and Spotify. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we're not responsible for their services. Our AI features can make mistakes, so check anything important, especially amounts.
8. Our name and app
The PalLoop name, logo, design and software belong to Superintelligent Labs. You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial game nights. You may not copy, sell or build on it without our written permission.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we stop offering the Service. Sections that should naturally continue, such as 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12, still apply afterwards.
10. No warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or accurate, including any balance, total or calculation.
11. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for money lost in or owed from any game, and our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the past twelve months or $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
12. Your responsibility to us
You agree to cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees, if a claim is brought against us because of your content, your games or your breach of these Terms.
13. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Please contact us first so we can try to sort things out. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be heard in the state or federal courts serving Cabarrus County, North Carolina, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.
14. If you got PalLoop from the App Store
These Terms are between you and Superintelligent Labs, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app, its maintenance or support, or any claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where it conflicts with these Terms, these Terms apply to the extent allowed.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll tell you in the app about any big change. Using the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
